Contemporary marimba compositions can be demanding and that’s why Anthony requested a different kind of two tone mallet.  This series has three core variations.  Softer, somewhat breathy playing is possible, then once past the middle wrapping, the cores of each create various timbre, from medium hard to very hard. Mostly commonly paired as 1, 2, 2, 3.
